Sometimes, its hard to find the right words to express how much your “mom” means to you, She has always been my teacher and guide. She visited me last year and I tell you my life got changed forever for a healthy living. She taught me so much about juices, raw veggies and fruits. It used to feel so good to actually cook with her after a long time.
This is one of my mom’s favorite juice recipe that i got hooked. She loves to use beet root a lot, would use it for a salad, face mask, juice or a sabzi (vegetables). Its best at giving a nice color and the nutritional properties it has. Reason why i like it, It feels so refreshing after a nice workout.
I would replace this with one of my meals, as it’s a complete meal on its own, has all the veggies and fruits. Digests faster and works as a good detox.
- 1 apple
- 2 oranges
- 1 small bunch cilantro or kale
- 5-7 carrots
- 1 tomato
- 1 beet root with leaves
- 1/2 lime
- black salt to taste
- Wash the ingredients
- Put them in the juicer one by one.
Very nutritious and delicious at the same time! Its a guilt free juice (meal) after burning those calories.
Try it and you will love it.
Sometime I replace cilantro with kale for its nutritional properties and for a change in flavor.
